Connecting Jira
Add issue-level metrics alongside your PR data.
Connecting Jira is optional — every report works from GitHub data alone — but it unlocks issue-level metrics like Kanban flow, sprint velocity and the Jira issues report.
Connect via OAuth
From Settings → Integrations → Jira, click Connect Jira and authorize GnomeMetrics against your Jira Cloud site. This uses Jira's standard OAuth flow — no API tokens to copy around.
Linking projects
After connecting, pick which Jira projects to sync from the project list that appears. Each project syncs independently, so you can add more later without reconnecting.
How people get matched across tools
GitHub and Jira identities are linked by email. If someone's GitHub commit email doesn't match their Jira account email, their activity shows up as two separate people in People — have them add a matching email in their GitHub and Jira account settings before either tool syncs, since that's what the matching relies on.
